Blair Gantz

Blair Gantz brings a wealth of experience and passion for player development to Pittsburgh Independence. Most recently the Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Penn State New Kensington, she has built a strong reputation for developing players both on and off the field.
 
Gantz was an accomplished three-sport star at Lampeter Strasburg High School, earning merits in track and field, basketball, and soccer. Gantaz continued to shine as a team captain, earning All-PSAC West and all-region honors at Slippery Rock University. Gantz also played for three seasons as a member of the Steel City Sparks in the Women’s Premier Soccer League.
 
In addition to her impressive playing and coaching roles, Blair has extensive experience across the youth game, including time as a Site Director, ODP staff coach, and founder of her own performance training program. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Community Health, a Master’s degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education, and multiple advanced coaching licenses and certifications, highlighting her commitment to the game and continuous growth.
 
Blair’s coaching philosophy centers on developing not just skilled players, but confident, disciplined individuals—making her a perfect fit for the mission and vision for PIFC North.
